How QwikQuote Works

After you successfully download and install QwikQuote onto your computer you are ready to go. Try using our demo Price List database called MakeACar.MDB and the out-of-box quotation template layouts. This is a great way of learning the many jobs our quoting and invoicing software can do. As a guide, follow these simple steps:

  1. Depending on the contact manager you are running on the computer, either use 'Bring in Contact ...' by only one mouse click, or do a 'Find Contact' to select the contact and contact information you want to use from contact list in your sales quote.
  2. Use the Price List view and pick product/service items that you are selling to your customer, this will show you how QwikQuote can drop items into your quote in an easy to access format which then allows you to add, delete and choose the quantity required.
  3. You can easily preview the sales quote before sending it to your customer by using the preview button, if your quote is correct and complete you then use the buttons or menu to save it and create a PDF file of the quote.   4. To email the quote to your customer, click the 'One-Click-to-Email' button that will automatically:

To use this feature in our Quoting Software, you enable the 'Print Picture in Document' checkbox in the Layout Property dialog in your Quoting Software. Then in the Catalog view of our Quoting Software to load picture for items that need to show the picture and check the checkbox named as 'Print Picture'. If you use a column to display picture, the picture will be shown in that column (If most of your product/service items have picture in your quotation software system - this is a good choice.) If not, the picture will be shown in the description column after the description. (If you only have sporadically items with picture in your quotation software system - this is a good choice.)    Comment line: - You can turn any line into a comment line by setting its line type property to as Comment. This allow you to easily insert the line as space line or add any comment and description you need in construct your Sales Quote.
